Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Step 2
Press 3 cloves into each quince half, then place fruit cut-side down in a roasting pan. Add water, wine, and cinnamon sticks to the pan; sprinkle sugar over fruit.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, 35 to 40 minutes. Turn quince right-side up and continue baking until tender, about 10 more minutes. Remove from the oven and let quince cool slightly.
Step 4
Transfer each quince half to a plate. Top each with 1 tablespoon juice from the roasting pan and a dollop of whipped cream.
