Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease two (8x4-inch) loaf pans.

Whisk flour, flax seeds, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl until well combined; set aside.
Step 3
Beat white sugar, eggs, oil, applesauce, brown sugar, and vanilla together in a separate large bowl until blended; stir in flour mixture until batter is well mixed. Fold in zucchini and chocolate chips until incorporated; divide batter between the prepared loaf pans.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted into centers comes out clean, about 1 hour. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring loaves to a wire rack to cool completely.
