Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Squeeze the end of each grape opposite the stem to separate skins from pulp. Set skins aside. Place pulp in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil, and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Press through a strainer or food mill to remove seeds.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place a sheet tray on a lower oven rack.
Step 3
Combine pulp, skins, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well and pour into pie shell.
Step 4
Combine oats, brown sugar, and flour in a medium bowl; cut in butter with 2 knives or a pastry cutter until crumbly. Sprinkle over grape filling. Cover the edges of pie crust with aluminum foil.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven on the sheet tray for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until golden brown and bubbly, about 20 minutes more. Cool on a wire rack.
