Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Step 3
Stir sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cloves together in a small bowl until well combined.
Step 4
Place 1 pastry crust into a 10-inch pie plate. Place 1/2 of the apple slices into crust and sprinkle 1/2 of the sugar mixture over the top. Top with remaining apple slices, then remaining sugar mixture. Cover with remaining pastry crust. Press the edges with the tines of a fork to seal, then poke holes in the top with a knife.
