Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 10x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3
Place zucchini in a colander, sprinkle with salt; let sit for 10 minutes. Press down to drain as much water as possible. Transfer to a large bowl.

Add eggs, 1/2 of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to zucchini; mix until well combined. Press mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 5
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Mix pizza sauce with beef; spoon over zucchini mixture in the baking pan.
Step 6
Sprinkle remaining 1/2 of the mozzarella over meat. Top with pepperoni slices.
Step 7
Bake until mozzarella melts, 15 to 20 minutes more.
