Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Mix 1 cup flour, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Pat crust into the bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan; bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Mix pecans, brown and white sugars, eggs, ¼ cup flour, vanilla, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl until well combined; fold in mulberries.
Step 4
Remove crust from oven. Spread mulberry-nut topping over crust and bake, 25 minutes.
Step 5
Cool for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut into 12 bars.

  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups fresh mulberries
